It is the most economical, most frequently used of our LÜRA bulk material halls: the variant with the arched roof. Its impressive dimensions extend from a 6 m to 43 m self-supporting span. Within this span the customized length of a hall can be freely chosen without restrictions. ... The geometry of the cantilevered arched roofs produces up to 20 m of leeway in height that makes it possible to fill up cones in the hall by truck or to use crane vehicles. The light and nevertheless insensitive plastic sheeting roof is up to 90 % translucent, makes interior rooms as bright as daylight and hence opens up quite new prospects for energy efficiency.

Short planning and delivery time, minimized downtimes on the construction site - the arched roof variant is not only a particularly flexible and high-quality hall system – it is also in the matter of assembly something for people “in a real hurry”. ... The foundations of the arched structure are formed, as in the case of all roof variants, by the proven LÜRA movable walls made of steel. Galvanized steel truss girders are mounted on top of the movable walls. The woven tarpaulin is then braced particularly tightly with this substructure in order to ensure that no movement of the tarpaulin material can occur.

Hardwearing, light & translucent.

Despite all of its lightness: the quality woven tarpaulin of the LÜRA plastic sheeting covered arched halls is extremely long-lasting and sturdy. It is characterized by an enormous tear resistance of up to 3.6 t/m. ... Moreover, it makes for particularly bright interior rooms since it is up to 90 % translucent depending on the colour. During daytime therefore hardly any artificial lighting is required – a decisive contribution to more energy efficiency. If nevertheless additional lighting systems are required, these can be quite simply fastened to the steel truss girders of the roof structure.
