Your LÜRA all-in-one WMA-solution

As a company certified under the German Water Management Act (WMA), LÜRA provides movable steel walls with integrated steel floors — an optimal solution for watertight, water-impermeable storage boxes for materials such as chips.
The steel floors are securely connected to the LÜRA steel walls and included in our structural calculations. We also offer the planning and construction of bulk storage halls, delivering technically and economically optimised solutions. For example, in large sliding roof halls, we meet WMA-requirements and protect floors by laying and tightly welding steel plates across the entire surface, as demonstrated in the project above.

Steel floors compliant with the Water Management Act (WMA)

  • Serve as discharge surfaces in chip bunkers, chip boxes, and transfer boxes for bulk materials classified as hazardous to water under the WMA
