Founding of the company
On 8 November, Theodor Lüger founds RMS Rohrleitungs- und Stahlbau GmbH in Gladbeck, Germany, with an initial team of eight employees.
The company’s first focus: steel construction and movable steel walls for bulk materials.

Stephan Lüger, son of the company founder, develops the patented LÜRA movable steel wall.

The company relocates its headquarters to Wesel.

A new production hall is constructed in Wesel.

LÜRA bulk storage walls are introduced to the French market.

Change of generation
Stephan Lüger is appointed managing director.

The company begins specialising in movable steel walls for bulk materials.

Our ‘Cloos’ welding robot is put into operation.

LÜRA is introduced as the new brand name for both the company and its products.

Peter Jansenberger, the new majority partner, joins the management team.

Managing Director Stephan Lüger steps down at the end of the year, following the company’s change of control. Kai Kubasch, long-standing head of technology & projects, is appointed co-managing director.
