Our movable steel walls are quickly delivered and easily installed — and if needed, can be dismantled and reassembled at a new location. Right from the start, they outperform the competition in both flexibility and cost-effectiveness with minimal downtime during on-site installation. All you need is a load-bearing substrate. In most cases, floor anchoring or foundations are not required.
Fast, simple, flexible
1.
Installing
Our hollow, lightweight walls arrive ready for action at your bulk storage site. Thanks to integrated lifting profiles positioned inside and at the top centre, they can be easily lifted and moved into place using a crane, wheel loader, excavator, forklift, or other lifting equipment.
2.
Filling
The walls are filled at their final destination, giving them impressive dead weight and exceptional stability. In most cases, you won’t need any foundations or floor anchoring — just a level, load-bearing surface and the right fill material. Whether it’s sand, gravel, crushed stone, earth, or even water, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for your project.
3.
Joining
All elements of the LÜRA system are optimally joined together with interlocks. All you need are standard nuts and bolts. The boxes are therefore extremely stable and sturdy, yet easy to extend and modify. Maximum safety and everything under control!

Integrated profiles & transport openings
Our movable walls feature integrated lifting profiles at the top centre for easy delivery to the bulk goods area — use these only when the walls are empty. Once filled, special transport openings allow flexible repositioning of the boxes.
Joining & interlocking
A stable system: All LÜRA movable wall elements are safely joined together with interlocks. All you need are nuts and bolts. There are no special or loose parts: you can therefore extend your boxes as you wish. When in a line or at 90° corners, the walls can be tack-welded or welded.
FAQ
How do I unload the walls?
You can unload them using a telehandler, excavator, or crane. Simply lift them using the integrated lifting profiles.
Can I use recycled material to fill the walls?
Yes, you can! The material itself isn’t critical, as long as it has enough density!
Which materials are suitable for filling LÜRA walls? What do I need to consider?
You can use any bulk material that is heavy enough, free-flowing and non-corrosive.
Keep in mind: The density and flow characteristics of your fill material directly affect how we size our walls. For the most cost-effective solution, we recommend selecting materials with care. Please let us know if your material differs from standard specifications so we can adjust the wall design accordingly.
Does the ground need special preparation before installing LÜRA walls? What if the surface isn’t even?
In most cases, LÜRA walls can be erected on any paved, load-bearing surface, like asphalt or concrete.
The ground needs to be level enough for the walls to sit together firmly without gaps.
If there are small gaps or uneven spots, you can use metal strips to seal or level them.
How are LÜRA walls installed? Can I do it myself?
Installation is straightforward and can be done using a telehandler, excavator, or crane. Our LÜRA installation team usually takes care of this, but you’re welcome to do it yourself — just follow our step-by-step guide.
What do I need to do after the LÜRA walls are installed, especially for monitoring and maintenance?
Once set up, LÜRA walls are ready to retain the bulk materials specified in your project. Yet, they require regular checks during operation.
If you spot major damage or movement, it may be due to incorrect use — investigate the cause
Localised damage is usually easy to repair and doesn’t take much effort
Are there any specific requirements for the geometry of the substructure/foundation? How can edge breakage be avoided?
Concerning the geometry of the substructure/foundation, please note that the dimensions specified for the walls are only nominal ones.
We suggest maintaining a safe distance from concrete edges to prevent edge breakage due to excessive loads.
